The Muni is an all volunteer organization. It takes each and every one of our wonderful volunteers to keep all the aspects that go into putting on a season of great shows together.

Whether your talents include organizing, greeting Muni patrons, popping popcorn, yard work, cleaning, sewing, hairstyling, makeup, repairing, painting, set-building, or some other ability, we have a role for you! Donate and hour or a day- any amount of time will be greatly appreciated.

The Muni is a year round operation run entirely by volunteers, and we would not exist without this tireless corps of enthusiastic individuals. While the performers onstage take their bows, the applause is shared by our directors, choreographers, vocal and musical directors who create Broadway Under the Stars; by our designers, artists and craftspeople who ensure our physical productions are spectacular; by our backstage teams who move sets, change costumes, apply make-up, and handle the countless tasks necessary for a seamless performance; by our front-of-house team, which provides a pleasant experience for our guests each summer; and by the nearly two dozen committees which oversee responsibilities ranging from advertising to landscaping.

Whatever your interest, there's a place for you at The Muni. Please contact us for more information on how you can get involved! If you have questions please contact us at

Muni Work Days

Mark you calendar to come help out at a Muni Work Day! Work days are fun and a great way to help Muni and make lots of new friends. There is work for everyone from raking leaves, to knocking down walls, organizing costumes, painting, clean up, and lots more, so people of all ages are welcome on work days. Make sure you dress is something you won't mind getting dirty and if you're a person that uses tools, bring them along just in case.

Work days start at 9:00 am and last until around 2:00 pm. If you only have a couple of hours, feel free to come when it's convenient. We work rain or shine, but always hope for nice, sunny days.

Each cast member is asked to spend 3 hours at the site on a work day however if you have more time to share we are more than happy to keep you busy for longer. Any time that volunteers can give as well is greatly appreciated.
